Terms of Service
Effective: April 2026
1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your") and Omelas AI LLC ("WAsecure", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in Wyoming, USA. By creating an account or using the WAsecure application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Service Description
WAsecure is a WhatsApp companion application that provides message backup, contact management, CRM tools, translation, and AI-assisted communication features. The Service:
- Requires an active WhatsApp account linked to WAsecure via WhatsApp's Linked Devices feature.
- Is a web-based application accessed at app.wasecure.io.
- Stores your WhatsApp messages, contacts, and media on our servers to provide backup, search, CRM, and other features.
- Offers optional AI-powered features including conversation summaries, dossiers, contradiction detection, and message rewrites.
- Offers optional translation powered by DeepL.
3. Eligibility
To use WAsecure, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have a valid, active WhatsApp account.
- Comply with WhatsApp's Terms of Service while using WAsecure.
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
4. Account
When you create a WAsecure account:
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Each WAsecure account may be linked to one WhatsApp phone number at a time.
- You must provide accurate and complete registration information and keep it up to date.
- You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
5. Subscription & Billing
WAsecure is a paid subscription service. The following plans are available:
- 1-Month Plan: $8.95 per month, billed monthly.
- 3-Month Plan: $23.85, billed every 3 months ($7.95/month).
- 6-Month Plan: $41.70, billed every 6 months ($6.95/month).
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize Stripe to charge your payment method on a recurring basis according to your chosen plan.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to the Service until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods or unused time within a billing cycle.
6. AI Features & Credits
WAsecure offers AI-powered features that require either your own third-party API key or WAsecure AI credits:
- A small free credit allowance is included with every active subscription.
- Additional AI credits are available for purchase within the app.
- Credit consumption varies by feature. Dossiers, conversation summaries, contradiction detection, and message rewrites each consume different amounts of credits depending on the length and complexity of the content processed.
- AI credits are non-refundable once purchased.
- If you provide your own API key (e.g., OpenAI, Mistral, Groq), requests are sent directly to that provider and usage is governed by their pricing and terms.
- If you use WAsecure's built-in credits, requests are routed through Together AI.
7. Translation
WAsecure's translation feature is powered by DeepL:
- To use translation, you must create a free DeepL API account (separate from your WAsecure account) and provide your DeepL API key within WAsecure settings.
- DeepL's free tier provides approximately 500,000 characters of translation per month. Usage beyond this limit requires a paid DeepL plan.
- WAsecure is not responsible for DeepL's service availability, accuracy, language support, or any changes to DeepL's pricing or terms.
- When you use translation, the relevant message text is sent to DeepL's API. DeepL's Privacy Policy applies to that data.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use WAsecure to:
- Engage in automated abuse, scraping, spam, or bulk messaging of any kind.
- Harass, stalk, threaten, or cause harm to any person.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service or any part of it without our written consent.
- Attempt to access, view, or tamper with other users' data or accounts.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
- Submit false or malicious community scam reports. All scam reports must be made in good faith.
- Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal under applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of your data at all times. This includes your messages, contacts, media files, and all CRM records you create within WAsecure.
- You can export your data from the app at any time.
- You can permanently delete all of your data at any time using the "Destroy All Data" feature.
- We claim no ownership, license, or intellectual property rights over your content.
10. Limitation of Liability
The WAsecure Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
- We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation of the Service.
- We are not liable for data loss beyond the reasonable server-side precautions we implement.
- We are not responsible for actions you take based on scam warnings, AI-generated analysis, AI-generated summaries, or any other output produced by the Service's automated features.
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to the Service is limited to the total fees you have paid to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
11. WhatsApp Disclaimer
WAsecure is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms Inc. WhatsApp and the WhatsApp logo are trademarks of Meta Platforms Inc.
WAsecure connects to your WhatsApp account using WhatsApp's publicly available Linked Devices feature. We are not responsible for any changes to WhatsApp's service, APIs, policies, or terms that may affect WAsecure's functionality. If WhatsApp modifies or discontinues the Linked Devices feature, WAsecure's ability to sync messages may be impacted, and we shall not be liable for any resulting disruption.
12. Termination
- By you: You may cancel your subscription and delete your account at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- By us: We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, engage in abuse of the Service, or if continued operation of your account poses a risk to other users or the Service.
- Upon termination, your data will be retained for a 30-day grace period during which you may contact us to reactivate your account or export your data. After the grace period, all data is permanently deleted.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Wyoming, USA.
